How it smells
In the first minutes black currant gives a tart bite, a bit like an unripe berry straight off the bush. Australian kunzea keeps the aromatic side going even after the initial sharpness has faded. An hour in, the scent dries down to cedar with the feel of freshly planed boards on the skin, and a thin wisp of incense smoke drifts above it. Orris gives the wood a slightly powdery softness.
In late-summer heat it refreshes, even though there's no citrus in it at all. Sitting in the shade in the afternoon, you'll notice its smoky base slowly rising.
